ACDLI Program

The ARES CDL Institute offers a 180-hour program combining classroom instruction and practical driving training. The schedule spans four weeks, covering introductory topics, restrictive course driving, on-road training, and final preparations, culminating in a final exam. Students focus on both theoretical knowledge and hands-on driving assessments to prepare for a career in commercial truck driving.

NATURE OF TRAINING AND TUITION COST

The four-week full CDL Class A truck driver training course's cost is $6,000. This cost includes books and supplies, but the cost of the DOT physical and UA are listed in the enrollment agreement and catalog.  Below is a listing of the costs involved with obtaining your CDL:

Tuition for CDL Training

Non-refundable Application Fee

Non-refundable TPR Compliance Fee

In the event that a student fails to attend the morning orientation without providing at least 24 hours' notice, a no-show fee of $200.00 will be applicable.

This fee will be directly deducted from any deposit made by the student towards tuition. Prior to the commencement of the class, students have the option to request and receive a full refund of the tuition paid to the school.

Once the class has started, refunds will be prorated based on the time spent at the school, calculated on a weekly basis. It's important to note that no refunds will be offered in cases of termination due to rules violations.

However, in exceptional circumstances, the Director will consider a refund. Upon request, funds may be held if a student wishes to reenter the program after resolving legal or personal issues and meeting re-qualifications. All amounts owed to a student will be refunded within 60 days from the last day of attendance or within 60 days from the receipt of payment if the date of payment receipt is after the student’s last date of attendance.
